Terms and Conditions

Bookings are for a minimum of one week, with changeover day Saturday, except for the Christmas and New Year weeks, where changeover day will be adjusted to suit the calendar.

Bookings can be made only directly with the owners.

Bookings are accepted only from an adult over the age of 18, for occupancy of the cottage by a maximum of two persons, one of whom must be an adult over the age of 18.  The adult(s) making the booking and/or occupying the cottage will be held responsible for the security of the cottage and contents during their stay and for any damage incurred.

The cottage is available after 14.30hrs on the day of arrival and until 10.30 hrs on the day of departure.

A booking of the chosen week or weeks is secured by a deposit of £100 per week, to be received within seven days of the booking request.

The balance is due six weeks before the start of the let.  If booking within six weeks of the start of the let, the full payment is required.

We accept payment by bank transfer or cheque.

If either the deposit or balance due is not received by the specified time, the booking will be considered to have lapsed and may be treated as if cancelled.

For bookings cancelled more than six weeks before the start of the let, the deposit and any other monies paid will be refunded.

If the booking is cancelled less than six weeks before the start of the let, we will attempt to re-let the cottage.  If this is successful, monies paid will be refunded but if unsuccessful, any monies paid will be forfeit.

We reserve the right to refuse bookings or to refuse to allow a change of persons occupying the cottage from those for whom the booking was originally made.
